Reflection on Stewardship in Our Whole Lives

Andy Nelson, a pastor who learned most deeply about stewardship when he became a foster parent, writes:
"We are entrusted with gifts that are at once precious, vulnerable, and imbued with great potential. There is an accountability demanded to one beyond ourselves. It will be necessary to make difficult decisions while keeping in mind the hopes and desires of another. We also live in the promise to witness and share in the joy and flourishing that comes from good stewardship."

In order to become better stewards of all that God has given us, it’s helpful to be honest about our joys and challenges. Stewardship requires making commitments regarding our time, energy, and finances. Please take time reflect on the following prompts, answer honestly and specifically, and return the form during the Stewardship Season (Oct 1 - Nov 5, 2017) so we can celebrate stewardship in our whole lives, and support each other in our areas for growth.
